Striper Ala Bones!
Stripers are very popular fish, many anglers catch them in salt- water, ocean fishing, freshwater, rivers or lakes, and the California Aqueduct. Stripers are very good to eat! Health wise Fish is better for everyone to eat, if they are cooked certain ways and less calories. They can be Baked, Broiled, Fried, Barbeque and even Microwaved. If you have a striper or any fish recipe that you would love to share, let me know and I'll put it right here. "Striper Ala Bones" Begin by preheating oven to 350 degrees. Ingredients: One large brown onion chopped. Crushed garlic. Extra virgin olive oil. Lemon pepper, sweet basil. 2 Fresh Lemons. StriperAla Fillets. Butter or margarine. Salt to taste.
Place chopped onions in an even layer in baking pan. Add 1/4 cup of water to the bed of onions (for moisture) or 1/4 cup of dry white wine. Dip striper fillets in olive oil and place on top of the bed of onions and evenly coat with crushed garlic to taste,( I like a lot of garlic.)

Sprinkle with lemon pepper and sweet basil (once again to taste.) Squeeze fresh lemon juice over fillets and place in oven on middle rack. Cook approx 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes. Salt to taste (I like sea salt.) Serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
